Welcome to the Lifestyle!

Several months ago I learned about the Lifestyle, a nation-wide sex-positive subculture of singles and couples. Normal people you'd see at the supermarket. Teachers, doctors, plumbers, writers, waiters, etc.

They're very private and fly pretty far under the radar. That's probably why you've never heard of them. Anything you've seen on TV or read about in a magazine is probably wrong.

There are no secret handshakes, but there are plenty of rules both explicit and implied. The first rule is "no" means no. The second is safe sex always. The third is no drugs, ever.

There are more.... some of which I learned to my chagrin. Like wearing panties to a lifestyle party is a sure way to mark you as a newbie. This journal is where I'll record my journey into the lifestyle. Enjoy the ride.
